Sept 15 Airport Information

To all Aero club members.

I will be at the Reno Air Races on Saturday, Sept. 15 if any one is interested … you can put a fly out together.

On Sept. 13 the Lake California runway was slurry sealed and is closed for operations. I have been told by the resurfacers that it will be open for operation on Saturday Sept.15. The new surface is soft and can be easily damaged!!! Please do not turn around or make sharp turns on the new runway. Go the end and use either the run up area or tone of the turn arounds located at each end.

The airport will be closed starting Thursday, 9/13 through completion of possibly Saturday 9/15.

Painting and striping will be done next week. However, the airport can be used during that time.
